Embattled Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has been given some welcome news. According to initial reports, a US government investigation has found Toyota cleared of fault over the highly public throttle complaint case, which had generated over than 2,200 complaints. The preliminary results of the report have been allegedly viewed by The Wall Street Journal, who reported that Toyota was deemed not to be at fault for sudden, uncontrolled acceleration due to its electronic-throttle system.
