Online video challenge launched by Carrentals.co.uk
Leading online car rental providers, Carrentals.co.uk, has announced the launch of a competition designed to celebrate the best clips on the internet which have a car related theme. The competition is entitled The Carrentals.co.uk Video Challenge, and is completely free to enter.
The rules are simple. Entrants must upload their car themed clips onto their own YouTube accounts and then upload them onto the dedicated Carrentals.co.uk You Tube page so that they can be seen by a panel of judges. All clips need to be kept under a maximum length of 90 seconds.
The Carrentals.co.uk Video Challenge will run from now until September 30 this year, and the winners of the best clips are due to be announced on October 14. First prize is a 16GB Apple iPad. The producer of the second best clip will be awarded £50 worth of John Lewis shopping vouchers, and the person behind the third best clip will be given £25 worth of John Lewis vouchers.
The clips will all be judged by the team behind Carrentals.co.uk. Full details of the competition, including terms and conditions, can be found at www.carrentals.co.uk/video-comp.
Managing director of Carrentals.co.uk, Gareth Robinson, says: “We know what an important role video plays on the Internet these days, which is why we wanted to bring together a selection of the best car-related clips for people to watch all in one place. The videos can be on anything relating to cars, but have to make the Carrentals judges laugh and they must be legal, safe and comply with all terms and conditions for the entrant to be in with a chance of winning an iPad.”
