More than 50 dead in Indian train crash

At least 52 people have died in a train crash in West Bengal. The accident happened at a station in the town of Sainthia in the early hours of this morning. It is feared that the death toll could rise. Although the cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed, it is believed that a faulty signal could be to blame. The accident happened when the Uttar Bangar Express, believed to be carrying commuters back to work after the weekend, ploughed into the back of the stationary Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchai Express, also believed to be carrying people back to work.
