Insurance costs rising at record rates

Despite the economic hardships facing UK motorists, the cost of car insurance continues to soar.
Car insurance premiums are skyrocketing by as much as 30 per cent, with experts claiming that rising fraud levels are to blame.
According to a new study by AA Insurance, the cost of an average comprehensive policy has risen by over 30 per cent in the past 12 months, with younger drivers again bearing the brunt of the increases.
