CrossCountry once again told to install WiFi on trains

Train operator, CrossCountry, has once again been threatened with a fine if it does not manage to install WiFi on its trains. The service was supposed to be up and running by 11 November last year. CrossCountry was warned then, by the Department for Transport, that it had until the end of January this year to install the WiFi, but it failed to do so. Having WiFi on its services is part of CrossCountry’s franchise agreement.
