British Airways offers cabin crew a peace deal

British Airways has offered its cabin crew a peace deal in an effort to bring the long standing dispute between the airline and members of the union Unite to a close.
Unite has given its member until July 20 to decide whether or not they wish to continue with industrial action. Derek Simpson and Tony Woodley, Unite’s joint general secretaries, have apparently presented BA’s deal in a letter, but not made any suggestion as to whether it should be accepted or rejected.
