Air France jet forced to land after bomb threat

An Air France jet forced to make an emergency landing after a report was received that there was an explosive device on board, has been allowed to continue on its journey. Flight 443 was approximately half-and-hour into its journey from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, when an anonymous female voice called Rio International to say that there was a bomb on board.
According to a spokesman for Air France, the jet was then contacted by Air Traffic Control and the decision was made that the aircraft should land in Recife, a city in the northeast of the country. The plane landed [...]
