Legionnaires Disease linked to windscreen wash

Research has been called for to determine whether Legionnaire’s Disease may be connected to windscreen wash, or lack of it.
The Health Protection Agency has asked for the research after expressing fears that the disease could be linked to the lack of appropriate screen wash in a vehicles windscreen water reservoir
A spokesperson for the HPA spokeswoman said a preliminary study by the agency had suggested there was a strong association between the two, with definite evidence that Legionnaires disease incidents occur around a lack of wiper fluid. British airways offers private jet service to North America

British Airways has announced that it will be offering customers the opportunity of flying by private jet to the US. Depending on the model of jet required the service will cost between £4,000 and £7,000 per hour. The service will be open to British Airways’ corporate client employees, holders of a BA Executive Club Card, or indeed anyone who has flown with the carrier in the last year.

Avis bid requires more information says FTC

The Avis Budget group has been asked by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission to provide additional information for its takeover bid for Dollar Thrifty.
Avis, the second largest car hire company in the US, has declared that it will cooperate with the FTC at all stages of the process of the takeover bid, which has entered its due diligence phase of the potential transaction. Lawyers representing Avis have claimed that the request from the FTC is just part of the overall process and that it should not be interpreted in any way.

Air France is allegedly embracing the rise of the mobile web user by adapting it corporate website for the mobile phone. Reports are that Air France has become the first airline to make its site available to customers in a format specially dedicated to the mobile.
