Representatives of the union which looks after worker’s rights at Disneyland Paris have been meeting with park managers to find out why three workers have committed suicide in the last two months. The trade union is suggesting that the deaths may have been related to working conditions at Europe’s most popular tourist attraction.

UK rail passengers that use the Gloucester to Bristol line will soon have an additional morning service. Beginning at the end of May, the extra service has been implemented after a string of complaints arose over overcrowding at peak morning and afternoon times, which resulted in many passengers being unable to sit down for their journey.

A survey recently conducted by information technology firm Unisys suggests that Britons are generally happy to have themselves subjected to the new full body scanners which are currently being rolled out in airports across Europe. The survey involved 10,000 people from 11 countries around the world including the US, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Belgium and the UK. Nine out of every ten Britons polled said that they did not mind having to go through a scanner which produces nude images of their bodies.
