Heathrow advised to improve instructions to taxiing pilots

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has said that improvements need to be made in how warnings are given to pilots attempting to manoeuvre aircraft at Heathrow. The warning came after investigations were completed into the collision of two passenger planes in 2007.
A SriLankan Airlines jet was attempting to make its way to a holding point at Heathrow airport in the dark when it struck a stationary British Airways 737. Two women caught with corpse at airport

A mother and daughter have been released on bail following their arrest at John Lennon airport in Liverpool for crimes connected with trying to smuggle a dead person onto an airplane. The pair’s alleged plot was foiled after airport staff became suspicious of Kurt “Willi” Jarant and the way he was slumped in a wheelchair wearing a pair of dark glasses.

First AA strike for over 100 years could be on Election Day

Patrol staff at the Automobile Association (AA) have, for the first time in the company’s 105 years of service, voted in favour of a national strike. The dates for the planned walk-offs have not yet been announced, but inside sources claim that they may take place during the general election period. This would coincide with similar industrial action planned by National Rail workers.
