Dayton City is now preparing to clear up the fixtures of the recently closed Dayton Airport Hotel prior to its demolition. The hotel, now on its 40th year, will be transformed into a parking space.
Some of the stuffs to be liquidated are the furniture and fixtures bought before by the city to refurbish the hotel. However, they were never been used as the renovation project was deserted prior to its completion. Included on the sale will be some of the kitchen’s appliances and several furnishings of the remodelled rooms.

The Met Office had recently revealed UK’s temperature data from December 2009 to January this year. The result: heavy rain, snow, sleet and freezing temperature made the 2009-10 winter season the coldest in 31 years. During the recent winter season, temperatures across the country dropped to 1.51 degrees Celsius in average, much lower compared with any record from 1971 to 2000 – where average temperatures read at 3.7 degrees Celsius. The recently released temperature figures also show that the recent winter was the harshest ever since the 1978-79 season.

An airline stewardess with British Airways has been arrested, along with a self-styling Hindu holy man, for their suspected roles in a prostitution racket estimated in the multi-millions of pounds.
The pair was arrested in Delhi, with local police authorities claiming that the man, Hindu swami Shiv Myra Dwivedi, had been using his south city temple as a cover for an operation involving up to as many as 200 prostitutes. Among the number were students and air hostesses who were normally offered to guest of five-star hotels.
