It now appears that full body scanners will be making their way to Heathrow Airport by the end of this current month. The government will also be introducing things like more frequent searches, behavioral analysis and even more sniffer dogs. The Home Secretary Alan Johnson also confirmed that they are considering the introduction of passenger profiling.

There seems to be no end to the drama between British Airways and Unite union. However, British Airways has announced that they will meet with the union representing their cabin crew in the next few days. The Unite union has agreed to talks with British Airways to try and resolve their long running conflict. However, Unite is still in the process of re-balloting members with a view on industrial action.

It would appear that a number of UK airports are having to remain closed due to the adverse weather conditions, which are affecting the whole country. Airports like Gatwick, Bristol, Exeter and Blackpool had to remain closed yesterday due to worsening snow conditions. Other airports like Heathrow, Birmingham, Luton and Southampton remain open, but they say that people should expect some long delays and cancellations.

A new parking fee reduction could be benefiting tourists to the Croatian holiday spot of Zagreb making car hire a much more affordable option in the city. Currently, the Croatian capital has high tariffs in the downtown area which can deter holidaymakers from hiring vehicles while visiting.
Previously in Zagreb fees to park cars could fall from 14 kunas (£1.72) to 12 kunas (£1.47) for an hour of parking time in the central area of the city. The Croatian Times is reporting that those fees could be reduced soon making parking much more affordable.
