The crisis at Aer Lingus just seems to keep getting worse and worse. This time the news comes in the forum of two problems for the airline. First and foremost, the finance director for the company is now resigning. Second, the talks with the pilots over pay cuts has finally broken down.

According to figures, 2.5 million items of luggage get lost at British Airports every single year. However, this is fine because most of it finds its way back right? Well reports show that some 70,000 pieces normally never get reunited with their owners. Scots are apparently the ones that end up losing their luggage the most often.

It now seems that TAP Portugal is in very advanced discussions with the World Sport Destination Expo, which is the first global exhibition dedicated to the booming sports tourism sector. The discussion is about TAP Portugal wanting to become an airline partner for the World Sport Destination Expo.

Revenues are still undergoing a depression at the White-van man’s group said the rental organisation in a statement yesterday.
However, despite the reduction in turnover the Northgate group said that the last 6 months had shown some improvement in pick-up utilisation rates. Transport for London (TfL) has announced that from the beginning go of 2010 it begin using a new roadworks permit scheme. The scheme is aimed at coordination of the various companies that undertake maintenance work to wires and piping that run underneath the capital’s roads in the hope that this will reduce the amount of disruptions caused to motorists.
